Main Steel has unveiled its new specialty tape products line created by its partner Nitto Denko America. The new line features products that will help solve problems and create new cost saving opportunities for its customers in the metals market.
Hyperjoint is a permanent adhesive tape which can eliminate the need for spot welding. Because it’s a foam tape, it is easy to use, provides superior flexibility and is able to conform to irregular surfaces. Another great advantage is its ability to expand and contract with the substrate, unlike welding, it reduces stress and thermal strain. Hyperjoint works fast. Once pressure is applied it bonds instantly and within 45 minutes the two materials will be permanently adhered. Hyperjoint H8000 Specs and H9000 Specs series, distributed in roll form, comes in thicknesses ranging from .4 mm to 1.2 mm and various widths to fit any project need. Legetolex is sound/vibration adhesive patch that is a must have for any product where excessive noise and vibration are a concern. It’s peel and stick application makes it easy to use. Because it targets specific structural problem areas, it is far more cost effective then other sound/vibration dampeners that may need to cover the full surface area to be as effective.
